چکیده

Understanding galaxies, the basic components of the universe, is one of the most challenging tasks we meet. There are two major phenomena of spiral galaxies which are not given acceptable explanation. One is the almost constant rotation curve and the other is the bar pattern. In my previous work, I proposed to use curvilinear coordinate system and a symmetry principle to study galaxy patterns. In the present paper, the spiral galaxy patterns (ordinary and barred) are studied by this method and an analytic expression of galactic bars is obtained. The bar expression is fitted to real galaxy images and the fitting result is satisfactory. I also present a preliminary study on the physical implication of the symmetry. A new stellar dynamics is proposed and a model of galactic rotation curves is developed and fitted to real data. keywords: Methods : Analytical – Galaxies : Structure – Stellar Dynamics

ساخت و تحلیل فهرست ستارهای از کهکشان M33

In this study, 1200 images and catalogues of M33 spiral galaxy taken by WFCAM camera at UKIRT telescope in J, H and K bands. Cross correlation methods were employed to identify stars in overlapping regions from among images taken in different dates. Careful astrometric and photometric analysis was made to calibrate stellar positions and magnitudes using their 2MASS near infra red survey. The fi...

The effect of variation of stellar dispersion velocities by the galactic latitude in interpreting gravitational microlensing observations

Our galaxy is a spiral galaxy and its stars are mostly in a thin disk and rotate around the galactic center. The vertical component of the dispersion velocity of stars is a function of the galactic latitude and decreases with increasing it. In the galactic Besancon model, this dependence is ignored and they just consider the dependence of dispersion velocity on the stellar age. Becanson model i...

Creation of Spiral Galaxies Ii

The spiral galaxies, including our galaxy, are created by the gravito-radiative forces generated by colliding black holes at the center of quasars. The gravito-radiative force is predicted by Einstein’s general theory of relativity. A quasar is assumed to have a circular disk of highly compressed neutrons (ylem) orbiting around black holes. The collision of two black holes at the center generat...

Spatial symmetry breaking in the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction with light-induced remote communication.

Domains containing spiral waves form on a stationary background in a photosensitive Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction with light-induced alternating nonlocal feedback. Complex behavior of colliding and splitting wave fragments is found with feedback radii comparable to the spiral wavelength. A linear stability analysis of the uniform stationary states in an Oregonator model reveals a spatial symmet...

Microarray analysis of gene expression patterns in Arabidopsis seedlings under trehalose, sucrose and sorbitol treatment

Trehalose is the non-reducing alpha-alpha-1, 1-linked glucose disaccharide. The biosynthesisprecursor of trehalose, trehalose-6-phosphate (T6P), is essential for plant development, growth, carbon utilization and alters photosynthetic capacity but its mode of action is not understood. In thecurrent research, 6 days old seedlings of Arabidopsis thaliana (Columbia ecotype) were grown inliquid cultu...
